lasik eye surgery procedures

lasik eye surgery procedure

Excessive Corneal Haze: Corneal haze often appears after PRK and LASIK treatments. The haze usually has little effect on vision, but in some cases it becomes excessive and interferes with eye function. An additional procedure is often required to correct excessive haze.

Procedural problems: Extenuating circumstances may require that surgery be stopped at an inopportune time, as would be the case of an earthquake, fire, or an equipment malfunction. This is more of a problem with LASIK than it is with PRK, since the former requires more advanced equipment.
